Project Manager, Land Development Engineer Needed! - Baton Rouge, LA
Land Development Engineer needed for an Engineering Firm in Baton Rouge, LA! The Land Development Engineer must have a Civil Engineering degree, with an emphasis on site development/ subdivision engineering. This role will be responsible for:
• Providing engineering design for residential and commercial subdivision and land development projects;
• Providing project management services;
• Providing design and construction procurement services;
• Providing design management services, including cost and schedule control, and value engineering;
• Providing construction management services, including construction phase services;
• Providing project close-out services, including close-out reports and documentation.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Site Development/ Subdivision Engineering required. Professional license in Civil Engineering in Louisiana, or the ability to obtain license within 6 months required. Certifications: PMP or other formal project management training or certification strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years related experience in Engineering design and Construction documents with emphasis on Site Development and Subdivision Engineering. 10 or more years experience in the design, engineering, and platting of residential developments a must. Additional Requirements: Must have experience in site design including preparation and recordation of subdivision plats. Experience in large scale residential developments, including traditional neighborhood development a must. Strong knowledge of land development codes, planned unit development, and subdivisions required. Proven leadership and management skills, including the ability to develop collaborative relationships that lead to successful results, whether within the firm or externally –with clients, consultants, and other key participants.
