Lab Superintendent - Plaquemine, LA
Laboratory Superintendent needed for a Manufacturing Facility in Plaquemine, LA! The Laboratory Superintendent will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Supervising QA Lab Technicians and/or contractors performing laboratory operations;
• Direct employee’s work (quality, quantity, schedules, safe work practices, maintenance of equipment and materials, etc.);
• Perform administrative functions according to the company’s policy and procedures;
• Review process, product and analysis;
• Issue Certification of Analysis to customers;
• Develop and evaluate test procedures to establish precision limits;
• Maintain laboratory records;
• Maintain training programs and records;
• Ensure that all sample analysis is reported to the designated area(s);
• Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed;
• Issue department monthly reports;
• Serve on Quality Committee and participate on internal audit teams; br>
• Ensure that proper disposal methods for chemicals and waste materials are used, and take corrective action where appropriate; and more!
The Laboratory Superintendent position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under deadline pressure is a must!
