IT Process Engineer - Baton Rouge, LA
A IT Process Engineer is needed for an Insurance Company located in Baton Rouge! The IT Process Engineer will drive process engineering activities by maintaining a clear understanding of the client's primary operations, business environment, and daily operational priorities and staying current with information technology trends in healthcare in order to support operational and strategic initiatives for designated client(s). The IT Process Engineer will also be accountable for:
Leading process and requirements engineering initiatives for designated clients;
Diagnoses process related problems and provides extended level technical support to achieve short-term and long-term solutions to meet clients objectives;
Develops and implements methods to systematically evaluate business process opportunities, analyze data from process failures, and make tactical recommendations to optimize business processes;
Advises, initiates, and achieves successful results for both IT and business management where appropriate to address technical and operational opportunities and challenges;
Maintains open and frequent communications with IT management team in order to effectively serve assigned business area(s);
Provides backup for the Sr. IT advisor and other process engineers peers on the Business Alignment Team;
Provides substitute coverage at customer meetings for Manager or Director of Customer Engagement, as necessary;

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree (to be deducted from general work field experience). Experience: Must meet the following:
Minimum of 5 years with process engineering responsibilities that may include business process management, business process engineering, industrial engineering and process simulation and modeling is required.
IT, Business or Management consulting or supervisory/ management responsibilities preferred.
Experience in a technical position (such as applications programming or systems design or database administration or extensive server/infrastructure administration or design) is preferred.
