Senior Manager SEC Reporting - Baton Rouge, LA
A Chemical/Petrochemical Company in Baton Rouge is seeking a Senior Manager SEC Reporting! This is a direct hire opportunity with a fabulous company! The Senior Manager SEC Reporting’s responsibilities will include:
• Manage the SEC reporting Forms 10K and 10Q on a timely and accurate basis;
• Direction of preparation of quarterly/ annual earnings release data and commentary;
• Direction of research and support for SEC and USGAAP accounting and disclosure processes;
• Manage monthly/quarterly USGAAP consolidated financial statement processes;
• Expertise in SEC and USGAAP standards, including experience with current research media;
• Management of special projects as designated by the Corporate Controller and Senior Management;
• Manage and review the preparation of Form 10-Qs, earning releases, the annual Form 10-K and shareholder’s report, including footnotes;
• Manage SEC reporting activities and schedules preparation from other members of the team; and more!
NOTE: The Company will provide relocation!
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Certifications: CPA required. CMA, CIA, MBA a plus! Experience: Must have senior level experience with the above mentioned duties/ reporting activities. Additional Requirements: Previous exposure to ERP financial systems strongly preferred.
