Quality Control Lab Analyst - Port Allen, LA
Established Pharmaceutical Company seeks a detailed and dedicated Lab Analyst for busy Quality Control department!
The QC Lab Analyst will:
1) perform assigned analyses relating to raw materials, in-process materials, finished drug products and stability samples,
2) assure through chemical analysis and inspections that materials used in or resulting from the site manufacturing processes are adequately assessed and characterized to ensure product quality,
3) participate in aspects of instrument and laboratory systems maintenance,
4) physically transport samples and reference materials between locations on site.
This position will work rotating shifts! Some very minimal overtime may occasionally be required. The QC Lab Analyst will be trained on company procedures. Education Requirements: Four-year science degree preferred, 5 years equivalent experience acceptable. Experience: 3 or more years of previous lab experience is required; Quality Control experience strongly preferred. Gas analysis experience is ideal; ISO environment experience is required! Additional Requirements: Candidates must have a strong work ethic as well as a proven track record showing consistent high quality work –no exceptions! Superior documentation skills required. Must have the ability to work under a supervisor yet be extremely self-motivated because there is opportunity to move up within the company. Must be attentive to detail, organized, mature, and dedicated.
