Accounting – Pricing Agent - Baton Rouge, LA
A Baton Rouge Distribution Company is seeking a Pricing Agent!
The Pricing Agent will be responsible for creating and maintaining saleable items for the Company (approximately 50 branches) using price sheets which are already set up in the company’s database. The Company has the software in place to easily upload pricing directly from an excel price file –which makes a strong knowledge of MS Excel extremely important. The Pricing Agent will work with lots of numbers; high level math and 10 Key skills are required! The ideal candidate has an accounting background. Communication skills are very important in this position, as the candidate will work directly with buyers and vendors.
This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday; 8am – 5pm. The company is an established national company with excellent benefits.
Education Requirements: Associate Degree required. OR High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years experience. Additional Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 2007, with a minimum typing skill of 40 – 45 wpm. Experience using AS/400 preferred.
